Ø Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably won't meet me until after you hire me, so I'd like to assure you I am qualified and take pride in my work. In the past 30 years I've had experience in all phases of home construction. I am licensed by the state of Illinois and certified by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Unlike other inspectors, I do this full time. Some just consider it a side job. For me, my reputation and that of my company, is on the line. So your satisfaction is most important.

Ø I use high quality instruments, moisture meters and electrical testers. Also, what I feel is the best reporting software on the market today. Different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires a lot of work. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspectors own knowledge and effort. If you select me, I assure you that I will give you my very best effort.

Ø I recommend you accompany me during the inspection so I can explain my findings and answer any questions you may have about the home. Most inspections will last about 2 to 3 hours depending on the size, age and condition of the house.
